Halloween 2009

What a difference a year makes! Trick'or'treating with Sasha this year was so much fun for both of us. She was Michael Jackson of course, for anyone who knows nothing about her. Really, there was no other costume choice in the running for her. Unless something big changes this year, I would imagine she wants to rock the MJ costume again next year. She was lucky enough to have her wonderful cousins, Lucas and Anabel, take her all through our neighborhood on the hunt for candy. After every door, she would come up and ask me if she could go get more candy at another house, she seemed stunned that the answer kept being, "yes". Lyla was dressed up as an adorable Owl and she came along for the ride in her stroller and later in Aunt Stacie's arms. The weather cooperated nicely, and it turned out being a wonderful night I'll not soon forget. We took an insane amount of pictures that day, not only of the costumes, but we got some great shots during the day of the pumpkin carving. We really enjoyed ourselves out in the yard, taking in the sun and the warm air. I hate snowy Halloween, and you just never know what you are going to get around here, but it was perfect!
